The Tri County Vikings girls golf team concluded its season with an end of the season banquet.
The Vikings, under second year coach Roxanne Faber, improved dramatically in 2011. The team’s 18-hole average improved by 85 strokes and their nine-hole average by 24 strokes. Every returning player lowered their 18-hole average by at least 10 strokes, including Lyndsae Kranz and Baylee Zemla each by more than 40 strokes.
The Vikings placed fourth in the Lakes 8 Conference. Earning honors at the banquet were, left to right, Kayla Vos, most valuable player; Ally Rackley, most improved player and Jessika Doty, most dedicated player.
