Gibbs named new Commercial Bank Greenville branch president

GREENVILLE — Joshua Gibbs has been promoted to president at Commercial Bank’s Greenville branch.
Gibbs is a Greenville native and Greenville High School graduate. He is also a graduate of Kalamazoo College and earned his MBA at Central Michigan University. He has completed extensive training through the MBA, SBA and MACB in the field of commercial lending, cash flow analysis and documentation. In addition, he holds two Dale Carnegie completion certificates and he was featured in The Daily News January 2009 for his accurate depiction of the “community banking” environment.
“We are very pleased to have Josh lead the Commercial Bank team in the Greenville area community,” Commercial Bank President and CEO Jeffrey Barker said. “He has taken an active role in many local civic organizations. He understands the important role that a community bank serves in advancing the quality of life throughout the greater Greenville community.”
Gibbs is an active member of the Lions Club, board member for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Gratiot and Montcalm counties, Spectrum Health United Memorial Young Professionals Committee member, president of the Greenville Alumni Association, Flat River Work Camp Mission board member and former member of the United Way of Montcalm County Board of Directors.
He and his wife, Courtney, with their son Grahm, live in Greenville.
