Greenville shooting victim recovering
GREENVILLE — The victim of a Nov. 12 shooting at the Flat River Inn & Suites is recovering from his wounds.
Greenville Public Safety Director Mike Stuck said Frederick Neal, 24, is improving and he may be discharged soon from an area hospital.
An unknown assailant shot Neal multiple times in the doorway of a room at the motel on Greenville’s west side. Neal was airlifted to a Grand Rapids hospital, where he had been listed in critical condition since the shooting.
Stuck said police have not identified a suspect yet.
