STANTON — Students at Central Montcalm proudly boast their school colors of green and white during athletic events held throughout the year, but this was not the case during two varsity basketball games on Jan. 27.
This past Friday, students, faculty and fans donned as much orange clothing as they could in support of juvenile diabetes awareness.
Even the girls varsity basketball team joined the effort, purchasing orange jerserys to support the cause.
Event organizer Brad Hansen said the event was a success with nearly $3,000 raised for the cause.
