Greenville city manager receives positive review

GREENVILLE — A performance evaluation of Greenville City Manager George Bosanic was conducted during a closed session meeting with the Greenville City Council.

The results indicate that Bosanic continues to perform his duties for the Greenville community at a good to excellent level, according to a statements from the City Council.

“The city continues to operate with a balanced budget that does not adversely affect services provided. Bosanic continues to strive to retain current business and to attract new opportunities for our community,” the statement said.

“The success the Greenville community has accomplished during the past year includes, but is not limited to, The Greenerville Project. These are in no small way attributable to Bosanic’s efforts and passion for the city of Greenville.

“Bosanic takes great pride in Greenville and this is apparent in these and other efforts he demonstrates as he performs his duties. Bosanic is a genuine asset for our community.”
Former Greenville Mayor Kenneth Snow, current Greenville Mayor John Hoppough and Bosanic signed the statement.
