Greenville 5K to raise funds for African youths
GREENVILLE — Local running and walking enthusiasts can look forward to a new challenge with a 5K run/walk event March 24.
The event is a fundraiser for To: Africa From: U.S., a nonprofit organization founded by Mary Fournier of Cedar Springs, who is committed to supporting communities and youths in African nations.
The race begins next to The Club Fitness at 9 a.m. and runs along a portion of the Fred Meijer Flat River Trail and includes segments around Baldwin Lake.
The race will be broken up into age categories.
Registration is $25 before Feb. 28, $30 after that through March 23 or $35 on the day of the race.

What about all the Americans that need help. What about all these homeless kids that live in America? Really this is just a joke, i can’t wait for this day to come i will protest the whole thing along with many other people. Anyone that helps another country then their own should just get out and go live there. What a joke.
I am a runner, but will not pay $25 for this event.
