Methamphetamine lab found in Orleans Township

ORLEANS TOWNSHIP – The Lakeview State Police Post was assisted by the Central Michigan Enforcement Team (CMET) in an investigation of the productions of Methamphetamine at a residence in Orleans Township in Ionia County.

While investigating a stolen vehicle complaint, troopers from the Lakeview post observed items that are believed to be used in the production of methamphetamine.

The troopers contacted CMET and further investigation uncovered a methamphetamine lab located in bedroom closet at the residence.

Both subjects, Michael Gould and Aalex Clark, who lived there were arraigned today in the 64A District Court. They were both charged with multiple felonies including possession of methamphetamine, operating and maintaining a meth lab involving a firearm and maintaining a drug house.

Clark was also charged with a felon in possession of a firearm.

The investigation will continue.
