Yellow Jacket boys track defeated twice

GREENVILLE — The Greenville Yellow Jackets boys track team lost twice in non conference action on Monday afternoon at Yellow Jacket Stadium.

Kenowa Hills defeated the Yellow Jackets 80-56 and Cedar Springs won 85-52.

Winners against Kenowa Hills included Luke Wilson, Dominique Zamora, Von Brown, Luke Gilmore and Carter Stephans,

Wilson won the long jump, 19-foot-7; Zamora, 100 hurdles, 17-59; , Brown, 100 dash, 11.73; Gilmore, 400 dash, 54.96 and Stephans, 200 dash, 24.05.

The Yellow Jackets won the 400, 800 and 1,600 relays.

Against Cedar Springs, Wilson, Brown, Gilmore all won the same events.

Levi Helms took first in the pole vault at 11-6.

The Yellow Jackets also won the 400, 800 and 1,600 relays.

Greenville is 0-2 on the season and will host East Grand Rapids after spring break on April 10.
