GREENVILLE — The Chamber often sponsors educational seminars about “branding” and “consistency in marketing” for our members so we believe it’s time we practiced what we preach.
In order to keep our image current, we are rolling out a new logo.
It is a big bonus for us that our new events coordinator — Seth Sutton — has a degree in visual arts and graphic design. He created several options for us to choose from, explained the strengths in each and let us choose which one best represented the Chamber’s brand.
You would be surprised at how much thought goes into the design of a logo. We have learned that the color red speaks to high energy and power, and perhaps just as importantly in Greenville, it’s Danish! The square shape is simple, clean and easily converts to an “app” if we choose to create one.
Your membership renewals for 2012 are going to look quite different, by the way.
How fun to have a fresh, new look!
