Greenville man arrested after stolen car found in Florida

EUREKA TOWNSHIP  — A Greenville man is in custody after a vehicle he allegedly stole in March was located in Sarasota, Fla., earlier this week.

Montcalm County Sheriff’s deputies arrested a 64-year-old man for obtaining goods under false pretenses and larceny by conversion in connection with taking a vehicle for a test drive from a local car dealership.

A 2004 Ford F150 pickup was taken from Blake Hollenbeck Auto of Greenville in March.

After the man did not return the vehicle, the Montcalm County Sheriff’s Office was contacted.

The man was apprehended in Kent County and has been transferred to the Montcalm County Jail. He awaits arraignment on the charges.
