The city of Belding is asking for children and their parents to attend a meeting tonight at 7 p.m. at the Pere Marquette Depot Building on Gibson Street in downtown Belding, concerning the creation of Skate Park at Riverside Park in Belding.

It is that time of year again for the annual Belding Band Follies at Belding High School (BHS). Come support the Belding band program at 7 p.m. today and Friday in the Belding High School auditorium as the BHS Band performs the annual Band Follies show.

The Michigan Senate approved four bills last week sponsored by Sen. Judy Emmons to expand opportunities for high school freshmen and sophomores and nonpublic students to take public community college and university courses.

Belding High School Band students performed in the annual Belding Band Follies show, performing musical numbers and comedy sketches while entertaining an audience at the BHS auditorium. Students will perform the show again tonight at 7 p.m. Tickets are $6 at the door.
