STANTON — A Riverdale man was sentenced to up to 30 years in prison Wednesday after being convicted of criminal sexual conduct.
Matthew Walrath, 53, was originally charged with four counts of criminal sexual conduct involving a 23-year-old victim who is related to Walrath. The charges originated from an incident in Crystal in August 2010.
Walrath was found guilty at trial of first-degree criminal sexual conduct and being a habitual offender second offense.
He was sentenced Wednesday in 8th Judicial Circuit Court in Stanton to from eight to 30 years in prison.
He also convicted of criminal sexual conduct in October 1994.
