PIERSON TOWNSHIP — Anthony Thomas Russell, 18, of Howard City, was arrested Monday in connection with a break-in that took place on Kendaville Road in Pierson Township over Memorial Day weekend.

A 16-year-old Howard City youth also was arrested for his involvement in the same crime.

Russell has been arraigned and is charged with two felony counts; breaking and entering and larceny from a building. The youth will be cited to juvenile court and will be facing the same charges.

Most of the items stolen were tools, some of which were recovered by police.

The case remains under investigation. The Montcalm County Sheriff’s Office continues to seek out others involved in the case.
