CRYSTAL TOWNSHIP — Saturday had a great start weather-wise, but as race time approached, what started out as a small storm over Lake Michigan began to grow and just as it approached the track, exploded into a virtual monsoon and dumped too much water for the track and pits to absorb in a timely manner and track officials called the event.

Pit passes and grandstand tickets are good for a regular event. Fans and racers must present the ticket to make the redemption. The night was to have been sponsored by Crystal Micro Systems Internet.

Next week at Crystal Motor Speedway is Mid Season Championships for all six divisions and will be sponsored by our friends at Engine Pro. Line-ups will be done by points standings.

The pit gates open at 4:30 p.m. and the grandstand gates open at 5 p.m. Adults are $10 and kids 5-11 are $10. Pit passes are $25.

Further information can be obtained by calling the track office at (989) 235.5200 or visiting the website at crystalmotorspeedway.com.
