VESTABURG — Lawrence Leroy Gorsuch, 60, died Thursday at his home in Palo. A funeral service will be 1 p.m. Monday at the Brigham Funeral Chapel, Vestaburg. The family will receive the support of friends at visitation from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the Vestaburg chapel.

 

Mary Ione LaMorre Schottler, 100

HOWARD CITY — Mary Ione LaMorre Schottler, 100, of Trufant, died Thursday at Spectrum Health United Hospital. Funeral Mass will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Mary Queen of Apostles Church, Sand Lake. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the Heckman Funeral Home, Howard City, and prior to the services Wednesday at the church.

 

Sgt. 1st Class Duane C. McAllister, 45

GREENVILLE — Sgt. 1st Class Duane C. McAllister, 45, formerly of the Langston-Lakeview area, died Thursday after a sudden illness while attending a school for Reserve Officer Training Corps instructors at Fort Knox, Ky. Funeral arrangements are pending at Christiansen Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Greenville.
