PIERSON TOWNSHIP — A man was pulled from Sand Lake Thursday night have Montcalm County dispatch received a call he was having a possible heart attack.
Deputies responded to a report of a 68-year-old man who was on a personal watercraft and possibly having a heart attack.
It was reported the man was in the water and the personal watercraft was “in danger of sinking.”
The man was brought to shore by family and rescue personal and transported to Grand Rapids by Montcalm County Paramedics.
“Deputies believe this incident was caused by a medical emergency,” stated a press release from Montcalm Central Dispatch.
