GREENVILLE — Football tickets for the much anticipated inaugural game at Legacy Field Friday night between the Greenville Yellow Jackets and Belding Redskins will go on sale today.
Tickets will cost $5 and be on sale during normal business hours. Tickets are available at the Greenville High School athletic office, The UPS Store in Greenville, S & H Trophy and Sports Center in Greenville and Silk City in Belding.
Gates will open at 5 p.m. on Friday, but will normally open at 5:30 p.m. for home Greenville football games.
Special reserved seating is available for home Greenville games for $50. Reserved seats are in the purple section located in front of the press box at midfield. If you have already purchased a season pass or will purchase a season pass the football reserved seating will cost $30. Reserved seats guarantee seats in the purple section and admission to all four varsity home games.
There will be an open house at Legacy Field tonight from 6 to 8 p.m. A rededication of the century clock on the plaza will take place at 6:30 p.m.
This is a great chance to view all areas of Legacy Field including the locker rooms and the press box. Kids will also have the opportunity to play on the new field surface, as well. Season passes, reserved seating and tickets for the first game will be on sale during the event.
On Sept. 7, the inaugural Greenville Athletic Hall of Fame class induction will take place at halftime of the game against Middleville Thornapple Kellogg.
Kickoff for Friday’s season opening game is at 7 p.m.
