Randy Hebert scored on a corner kick from Michael Krogman in the first half and in the second half, Mark Hebert scored on an assist from Jacob Bracey. Forest Hills Eastern 7, Greenville 1: The Yellow Jackets were only able to get one win against the Huskies Tuesday. The win was in No. 1 singles, where Brandon Brom beat Christian Paneral 6-2, 6-1. Only two others went to three sets: Marius Elbs at No. 2 singles and No. 4 doubles with Matt LeBlanc and Bryan Edwards. Next match: at home against Grand Rapids West Catholic Thursday.
Belding fifth: The Redskins shot a team score of 228 Tuesday at the Highlands, which hosted the O-K Blue Conference jamboree for Grand Rapids NorthPointe Christian. That was fifth overall, as the hosts shot 171 to win the event. For Belding, Tayler Reeves shot a 53, Haylee Batzer added a 56, Alyviah Mason carded a 57 and Jordan Conroe added a 60.
