MONTCALM TOWNSHIP — Three businesses were broken into on the north side of Greenville last weekend.

The Montcalm County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the crimes, which occurred between Saturday night and Sunday morning last weekend at 5976 S. Greenville Road (M-91) in Montcalm Township just north of Greenville.

The businesses include TNT Tax Services, KMB Insurance Agency and attorney Michelle M. Lyons’ office in a gray-colored strip mall on the west side of M-91.

According to Det. Sgt. Tom Goerge, someone entered through the back doors of each building. Some items were stolen from Lyons’ office.

“There was damage to the building,” Goerge said. “They gained entry through the back door by forcing it open by breaking the windows on the door. The loss was minimal, but there were some items stolen.”

Goerge said there are no suspects at this time.

“We’ve gotten a couple leads that we’re following up on,” he said.

Anyone with information is asked to call the sheriff’s office at (989) 831-7590.
