GREENVILLE — A concert will be held to benefit the Montcalm County 4-H Association.
John Barry will be performing a Christmas concert at 7 p.m. Dec. 8 at the Greenville Performing Arts Center.
Tickets are $25 and are available now at Jorgi’s in Greenville, the Lakeview Elevator in Lakeview and online at montcalmcountyfairgrounds.com.
“(Barry) does an extraordinary job,” said Pat Schuster, who is helping plan the concert with coordinator Kim Thompson.
Schuster said Barry has preformed several times and has developed a strong fan base in the area.
“He is a great guy and he gave us a good deal,” he said of Barry.
Barry, a country music artist, will be featuring Christmas music at the performing center, which seats about 700 people.
“We love the Greenville community,” Barry said. “It’s fun and we have a blast.”
Barry said this is his 15th year doing a Christmas tour.
At the concert, guests will get the pleasure of seeing a two-part show featuring music off of his latest album, older favorites and, of course, Christmas music.
“If you like country music, you don’t want to miss this,” Schuster said.
The money raised is going to the Montcalm County 4-H Association to help keep up the 4-H fairgrounds located on Peck Road in Montcalm Township just north of Greenville.
