HOWARD CITY — A man suspected of at least two incidents of indecent exposure in Howard City has been arrested.

Corey Alan Crawford, 21, of Howard City, turned himself in to police on Nov. 19.

Crawford is charged with indecent exposure and disorderly person/obscene conduct, both misdemeanors. He is scheduled for a pre-trial Dec. 4 in 64B District Court in Stanton.

The Howard City Police Department had previously asked for the public’s help in identifying Crawford. A photo of Crawford’s vehicle was taken at the Leppink’s parking lot in Howard City.

The first incident of indecent exposure reportedly took place the morning of July 31 at the corner of Lake Montcalm Road and Maple Hill Road in Reynolds Township. Crawford allegedly followed a woman driving away from a local business to that intersection. He allegedly exposed himself to a woman, then left the scene at a high speed, westbound on Lake Montcalm Road.

The second incident of indecent exposure was reported June 12 north of Amble in Winfield Township. The Michigan State Police Lakeview Post responded to that call.

Anyone with additional information about the suspect or the incidents is asked to call the Howard City Police Department at (231) 937-4111.
