GREENVILLE — A boy is being treated at Spectrum Health United Hospital in Greenville for non-life threatening injuries after being hit while riding his bicycle to school this morning.
According to Greenville Department of Public Safety Director Michael Pousak, an 11-year-old boy was traveling on bicycle through the Greenville High School parking lot to Greenville Middle School when he was struck by a car.
“He had some bumps and bruises,” Pousak said.
The boy was only taken to the hospital by Montcalm County Emergency Medical Services to be examined.
“No citation was given,” Pousak said. “It was more of the bicyclist’s fault.”
