Morley Stanwood 58, Central Montcalm 47: The Hornets were close late against the Mohawks, but could not get over the final hump in a CSAA loss on Monday night at home. Leading by just two 44-42, the Mohwaks were able to pull away in the final minutes. Travis McCuaig led the Mohawks with a game-high 18 points. Tim Carinduff added 17 points. Ben Bishop led the Hornets with 14 points. Quote: “It was a pretty close game at 44-42 with three and a half minutes left. Farwell 60, Montabella 52: The Mustangs lost a nonleague home game on Monday night to Farwell. Brady Burggren led the Mustangs with 13 points, while Tyler House added 10 points. Trent Marhofer led Farwell with 14 points and seven rebounds. Record: 0-3. Next game: home Friday against Chippewa Hills.
