1. The Road Committee will meet at 7 p.m. Jan. 16 and is working on amendments for the recreation plan and master plan.

2. The Planning Commission will meet at 7 p.m. Jan. 17 and has submitted project ideas to the Road Commission of Montcalm County for 2013.

Discussion items:

1. Pierson Township sexton Don Hubbard is retiring Dec. 15. Applications are being requested for a new sexton.

2. Surplus supplies from the township construction project will be donated to Habitat For Humanity.

3. Scott Vukin is working on a policy for renting the township  hall.
