CC-Crystal 60, Coleman 35: The Eagles remained undefeated in the MSAC with a road win against the Comets on Thursday. Brann Schmitt dominated with 23 points and 12 rebounds. Vestaburg 69, Ashley 46: The Wolverines won their first game of the year in convincing fashion over the Bears on Thursday. DeWayne McKinney led Vestaburg with 25 points and 15 rebounds. Mason Darmody had a huge night with 16 points, 18 rebounds, seven steals and six assists. A 17-5 third quarter helped Vestaburg to blow open the game. Records: 1-6, 1-3. Reed City 61, Central Montcalm 47: The Hornets were close late, but could not finish out the game in a loss to the Coyotes on Thursday. Chad Samuels scored a game-high 17 points for Reed City.
