EUREKA TOWNSHIP — Ed Koehn Chrysler Jeep and Dodge will be adding a new facility and employment to the area.
Owner Ed Koehn said the original Chrysler building at its location on 11064 W. Carson City Road in Greenville was built in 2008.
Ed Koehn Chrysler Jeep and Dodge is a father-son dealership in Greenville that Koehn runs with his son Aaron Koehn.
“We need the new building because of the growth of (the) business,” Koehn said.
In November, Koehn said the construction started on the new facility, which will be about 20,000 square feet when it is completed.
Koehn hopes for the completion of the building to be around the end of May.
Once the new facility is completed, Koehn said about 35 jobs will be added to the company.
Internet Director Tyler Athey said the new facility will also be able to provide a full service station and the company will be able to offer larger parts for its customers.
“We will be able to service customers better at the new building,” Athey said. “They will get service in a nice building.”
There are plans in the works for the old Chrysler building, but no definite plans have been put into place as of yet.
“We are pleased to move forward to serve our customers,” Koehn said.
Koehn and Athey said also with the new facility, the company will be able to offer its customers the newest in technology to help supply them with the best service.
Athey said customers can follow the expansion through the company’s Facebook page.
“Customers will be able to stay up to date,” Athey said.
