A St. Patrick’s Day bar fight near Stanton resulted in two women being struck by a vehicle. Montcalm County Sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to The Thirsty Parrot Bar (Double Six Bar & Grille) on at 4680 N. Sheridan Road (M-66) in Day Township in response to a fight and individuals having been struck by a vehicle. The disturbance occurred approximately 12:30 a.m. Sunday.

A Greenville woman sustained injuries after she was struck by a vehicle while attempting to cross the street at the intersection of Washington and Grove Streets this morning. According to Greenville Department of Public Safety Director Michael Pousak, the pedestrian, a 65-year-old Greenville resident, was struck by a gray Chevrolet pickup truck driven by a 45-year-old woman from Greenville while attempting to cross the street at approximately 8:20 a.m.

Two people were transported to the hospital with injuries after Montcalm County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a two-vehicle accident on M-91 Saturday morning. At approximately 5:48 a.m., deputies arrived on scene of the accident on M-91 south of Spencer Road.
