Yellow Jacket Run to close streets in Greenville on April 21

GREENVILLE — Several streets in Greenville will be closed temporarily on Sunday afternoon for the Yellow Jacket Challenge 5K run and 1 mile walk.

The events get underway at 2 p.m. at Greenville High School. The 5K course goes from Blackburn to Hillcrest streets, where it enters the Fred Meijer Flat River Trail.

The course continues on the trail until Franklin Street. Runners will travel south on Franklin Street and turn west on Montcalm Street, south on Olson Street, and back west to the high school by way of Hillcrest and Blackburn Streets.

Some of the streets along the course will be closed for a short time while runners pass.
