GREENVILLE — The Greenville girls basketball program will host a youth girls basketball camp this month at Greenville High School.

The camp will run June 24 to 27 and will be split into two sessions. The camp costs $25, which includes a camp T-shirt.

“We want the girls to leave camp as a better player, a better teammate and a better person,” Greenville varsity girls coach Eric Nichols said.

Camp No. 1 will be for grades 4 through 6 and run from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m.

“We will stress basic offensive fundamentals at the lower levels,” Nichols said.

The second camp is for grades 7 to 8 and runs from 10:15 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

“The upper level camp will focus on offensive and defensive fundamentals, along with more team play situations,” Nichols said.

Current and past Greenville players will help instruct at the camp with the coaching staff.

Sign up sheets are available at all Greenville Public School buildings and St. Charles Elementary. Walk in sign ups are welcome the day of the camp, as well.

For more information, contact Nichols at (616) 225-1000 ext. 8355 or by email at nicholse@greenville.k12.mi.us.
