EVERGREEN TOWNSHIP — A 42-year-old Sheridan man was arrested Friday for reckless discharge of a firearm.
Deputies with the Montcalm County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a firearm being discharged within a home in the 4000 block of S. Lund Road at approximately 2:13 p.m.

The deputies discovered that the man had fled prior to their arrival but was located a short time later in Ionia.
