CEDAR SPRINGS — The Greenville Yellow Jackets were back on the golf course Monday, just two days after hosting their own invitational at The Links of Bowen Lake.
On Monday, the Yellow Jackets competed in an O-K Bronze Jamboree hosted by Cedar Springs at Cedar Chase Golf Course.
Forest Hills Eastern remained the top team with a team round of 181. Grand Rapids West Catholic was second with 187, followed by Cedar Springs (197), Greenville (207), Forest Hills Northern (210) and Northview (232).
“Forest Hills Eastern continues to dominate the league with another first place finish,” Greenville coach Nancy Johnson said.
The defending Division 3 state champions were led by match medalist Megan Skoog with a 41. Henna Singh added a 42 for the Hawks.
Greenville was led by Amanda Kerschen’s 49. Karli Didion shot 52, while Taylor Hansen, Rylee Zayler and Drew Johnson each shot 53. Anne Hilt finished with 57.
“We are a young team this year with lots of potential,” Johnson said. “But we continue to struggle with our short game around the greens.”
Greenville will play in another league jamboree on Wednesday hosted by West Catholic.
