Newaygo 4, Lakeview 2: The Wildcats were outscored 4-1 in the second half and lost their final regular-season game Thursday. Ryohei Mitsui and David Wheeler had unassisted goals for the Wildcats in the loss. Goalkeeper Lucas Sweet had 18 saves in the game. Records: 10-7 and 3-3. Next game: at Whitehall for the Division 3 districts Tuesday.

Cedar Springs 5, Greenville 3: The Yellow Jackets finished the regular season with a loss to the Red Hawks Thursday. Michael Krogman had two goals and Andrew Anderson also scored for Greenville. Assists came from Lucas Meneses, Kaleb Davis and Jacob LeBarre. William Hollinshead made 17 saves in the O-K Bronze loss. Record: 3-16. Next game: at Ionia for Division 2 districts Tuesday.


Greenville 3, Northview 1: The Yellow Jackets made it a clean sweep of the Wildcats by winning the second match Thursday 25-17, 26-28, 27-25, 25-17. Leah Somerfield had 17 kills, four blocks and four aces for Greenville, while Morgan Wallin had 38 assists. Kylee Moody made 20 digs in the win. Records: 24-7-3 and 5-1. Next match: at the Morley Stanwood Invitational Saturday.

Central Montcalm 3, Vestaburg 2: The Green Hornets downed the Wolverines in a non-conference match Thursday 18-25, 25-23, 19-25, 25-11, 15-12. Central was led by Savannah Case with 16 kills and 10 digs and Hailey Hollenbeck with 19 assists and seven aces. Record: 5-10-2. Next match: at the Ovid-Elsie Invitational Saturday.
