Montabella 67, Coleman 60 (OT): The Mustangs led by six going into the fourth quarter but got outscored by the Comets 23-17 to take Friday night’s game into overtime, where Montabella held Coleman to five points. Cayden Nisonger had 19 points to lead the Mustangs, followed by Chase Murray with 15, Tyler House with 12 and Brennon Ball with 10. Records: 3-7 and 3-4. Next game: at Clare Monday.

CC-Crystal 66, Vestaburg 57: The Eagles, playing their first game in 13 days, outscored the Wolverines, who were playing their first game in 14 days, 23-5 in the first quarter and cruised to an MSAC victory Friday night. Rhett Pringle led CC-Crystal with 21 points, Garrett Tabor added 15 and Aaron Haines, Kyler Simmon and Grant Gage added 10 each. DeWayne McKinney scored 20 for Vestaburg and Keegan Scott added 18. Records: CC-Crystal is 7-3 and 5-0, Vestaburg is 4-5 and 2-3. Next games: CC-Crystal is at home against Bath today, Vestaburg is home against Evart Tuesday.

Allendale 66, Belding 64 (2OT): The Redskins were down by four going into the fourth quarter but erased that deficit only to lose in the second overtime to the Falcons Friday night. Nick Price led Belding with 15 points while Brian Daller, Tye Wittenbach and Bryce Wilker had 12 points each. Records: 3-8 and 3-5. Next game: at home against Coopersville Monday.

Fruitport 56, Tri County 55: The Vikings scored only 18 points in the first half but held the Trojans to just 16 points in the second half before losing a Lakes 8 Conference game Friday night. Kyle Bakhan had 21 points and eight rebounds to lead Tri County, while Ryne Dailey and Parker Schrader added 10 each but no other Viking had more than four. Records: 2-8 and 1-4. Next game: at home against Fremont next Friday.
