Boys basketball

Lakeview 63, Hesperia 56: The Wildcats continued their winning streak Tuesday, knocking off the Panthers in a CSAA game. Jon Wandel came off the bench to score 21 points, leading Lakeview. Shawn Lindsey added another 12 to the win. Record: 13-1 (12-1). Next game: at home against Lakeview Friday.

Greenville 67, Hastings 62 (OT): The Yellow Jackets survived a nine-point third quarter to beat the Saxons Tuesday night. Parker Syrjala scored 21 points and Ian Cooper added 14 for Greenville in the win. Record: 7-8. Next game: at home against Northview Friday.

Belding 50, Sparta 35: The Redskins broke a long losing streak in beating the Spartans in an O-K Bronze Conference game Tuesday night. Belding got 13 points each from Garrett Strotheide and Nick Price in the win. Record: 4-11. Next game: at home against Comstock Park Friday.

CC-Crystal 48, Portland St. Patrick 28: The Eagles rebounded from Saturday’s loss to Mount Pleasant Sacred Heart with a win over the Shamrocks Tuesday night. Rhett Pringle led CC-Crystal for the second straight game, scoring 14 point. Grant Gage added 13 points and nine rebounds for the winners. Record: 9-4. Next game: at home against Montabella Friday.

Montabella 70, Farwell 51: The Mustangs earned a home victory on Tuesday against the Eagles. Montabella led 17-8 after the first quarter and never looked back. Cayden Nisonger led the way with 26 points. Brady Burggren added 16 points and Peter Taylor 10 points. Record: 5-9 (4-3). Next game: at CC-Crystal on Friday.

Girls basketball

Greenville 56, Hastings 33: Greenville continued its winning ways with a nonconference road win on Tuesday. Leah Somerfield had 16 points and six rebounds. Landon Kemp added 11 points, while Kylee Moody finished with 10 points. Nikota Howe had seven points and six rebounds. Record: 15-2. Next game: at home Friday against Northview.

Sparta 48, Belding 38: The Spartans stopped the Redskins on Tuesday night in an O-K Blue matchup. McKenzie Breimayer led Belding with 16 points, while Katie Wood finished with eight points. Stefanie Harig had seven points and eight rebounds. Record: 10-5 (4-4). Next game: at home against Comstock Park on Friday.
