Boys basketball

CC-Crystal 48, Montabella 34: The Eagles took the MSAC game against the Mustangs Friday night. Grant Gage had 16 points, Arron Haines added 13 and Garrett Tabor scored 11 for 40 of the 48 CC-Crystal points. Cayden Nisonger led Montabella with 18 and Brady Burggren had 11 for 29 of the 34 Mustang points. Records: CC-Crystal is 10-4 and 7-1, Montabella is 5-10 and 4-4. Next games: CC-Crystal will be at Tri County Wednesday, Montabella is at Fulton Monday.

Comstock Park 63, Belding 54: The Redskins lost to the Panthers Friday night, Giving Comstock Park a share of the O-K Blue Confernece title. Garrett Strotheide led Belding with 16, Nick Price added 15 and Kole Hart had 12. Records: 4-12 and 2-8. Next game: at home against Montabella Tuesday.

Northview 72, Greenville 57: The Yellow Jackets lost its second meeting in seven days with the Wildcats on Friday night at home. Ian Cooper led Greenville with 15 points and Mitch Niewoonder added 11. Records: 7-9. Next game: at Cedar Springs Tuesday.

Girls basketball

Belding 66, Comstock Park 32: The Redskins outscored the Panthers 19-4 in the first quarter and 21-6 in the third to get an O-K Blue Conference win Friday night. McKenzie Breimayer scored 16 points, Stefanie Harig added 13 and Katie Wood added 11 for Belding. Records: 11-5 and 5-4. Next game: at Coopersville next Friday.
