STANTON — Central Montcalm Public School voters passed an operating millage renewal on Tuesday.

Voters passed the measure with 245 voting yes and 71 voting no.

This proposal will allow the school district to levy the statutory rate of 18 mills on all property, except principal residence and other property exempted by law, required for the school district to receive its revenue per pupil foundation allowance and renew millage that will expire with the 2014 tax levy.

The millage provides funds of approximately $1.5 million for operating expenses between 2015 and 2019.
