Belding 69, Ovid-Elsie 41: The Redskins advanced to the Class B district final with a road win on Wednesday over the Marauders. Belding outscored the Marauders 25-7 in the second quarter, which included an 18-2 run, to blow open the game. McKenzie Breimayer led the way with 20 points. Peyton Mount added 13 points, while Katie Wood finished with 11 points. Monica Baylis grabbed seven rebounds. Wood had five assists. Record: 15-6. Next game: at Ovid-Elsie vs. Alma in district final on Friday.

Tri County 53, Newaygo 42: The Vikings advanced to the Class B district final with a win over Lakes 8 rival Newaygo on Wednesday at Grant. A 19-11 third quarter helped the Vikings to the win. Alexis Firovich led the way with 16 points. Kelsy Hackbardt added 15 points, while Kaylie Caverly finished with 12 points. Record: 14-5. Next game: at Grant vs. Sparta on Friday in district final.

Ithaca 56, Lakeview 45: The Wildcats saw their winning streak (19 games) come to an end, as well as their season, with a loss to the Yellowjackets on Wednesday at Montabella in a Class C district semifinal. Ithaca outscored the Wildcats 28-17 in the first half and held off an Lakeview rally in the second half. Sadie Massie led the Wildcats with 22 points. Maddie Shurlow added seven points. Lauren Jaquays led with seven rebounds, while Shurlow had six rebounds. Record: 19-3. Next game: season is over.
