GREENVILLE — The Greenville Department of Public Safety is offering a $500 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of vandals who have been spray painting public property in recent days.

According to Director Mark Reiss, vandals have “tagged” the big green water tower in Veterans Park and — over the past weekend — equipment at the Danish Kingdom.

“They’re spray painting profanity,” Reiss said. “We haven’t had any witnesses, but it’s getting to the point where it’s getting out of hand. We’re asking anyone with information to either call the Department of Public Safety or Silent Observer. Then they’ll be eligible for the reward.”

The number for the DPS is (616) 754-5098 and (616) 774-2345 for Silent Observer.
