Residents asked to lock vehicles after string of larcenies in Reynolds Township

REYNOLDS TOWNSHIP — After a string of recent break-ins, the Montcalm County Sheriff’s Office is encouraging township residents to ensure they lock their car doors.

According to the Sheriff’s Office, deputies have handled multiple reports of thefts from automobiles in recent days within Reynolds Township.

Three separate reports were taken between Tuesday and Thursday.

Some of the vehicles that sustained losses were unlocked while force was used to open another.

The reports were taken on Garbow road and Redder Lane.

The Sheriff’s Office is encouraging area residence to lock their vehicles even when parked in their own driveways, to not leave valuables in their vehicles, and to watch for suspicious activities in their neighborhoods.
