EUREKA TOWNSHIP — A Belding man has been charged with aggravated assault after allegedly pointing a long gun at another man.

The victim, a 50-year-old Belding man, went to the home of a friend on South River Road. Lester Heminger, 49, of Belding, also lives on that property.

Heminger was arraigned and charged on Friday with aggravated assault. He remains in custody on a $2,000 bond.
