CRYSTAL TOWNSHIP — A Crystal man was arrested yesterday and charged with six felony counts of inappropriate sexual contact with minors.
Following a lengthy investigation, the Montcalm County Sheriff’s Office announced on June 4 the arrest of Jeremy Edward Geselman, 33, of Crystal.
Police allege Geselman had inappropriate sexual relationships with two girls, ages 16 and 13 at the time of the offenses. Charges include two for first degree criminal sexual conduct, one for second degree criminal sexual conduct, two for third degree criminal sexual conduct, and one for fourth degree criminal sexual conduct. The maximum sentences for those charges range from two years to life.
Geselman was already lodged at Montcalm County Jail on an unrelated offense. He remains behind bars on a $100,000 bond.
A pretrial conference is scheduled for July 7 with a preliminary exam date following on July 8.
