EUREKA TOWNSHIP — Four people were treated for non life-threatening injuries after a head-on collision Friday afternoon on Greenville Road.

Deputies from the Montcalm County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to a report of a two-car crash at Greenville Road near Jordan Road just south of Greenville in Eureka Township shortly after 3 p.m. Friday.

The investigation determined that a northbound 1986 Toyota Pickup driven by a 19-year-old Stanton man crossed the center line, striking a southbound 2000 Ford Windstar, driven by a 33-year-old Greenville woman.

The Stanton man was extricated from his vehicle by members of the Greenville Department of Public Safety and transported to Spectrum Health United Hospital for treatment. The Greenville woman and her three children were also transported from the scene of the crash to Spectrum Health United Hospital where they were treated for minor injuries.

Alcohol and speed were not a factor in the accident and all subjects involved were wearing their seatbelts.

Deputies were assisted at the scene by the Greenville Department of Public Safety and Montcalm County Emergency Services.
