CRYSTAL TOWNSHIP — Members of the Crystal Township Board approved number of contract agreements Wednesday evening for the overall improvement township roads.

The most expensive agreement of the evening came with an unanimous vote on a contract with the Montcalm County Road Commission.

Board members voted 4-0, with Township Clerk Bob Naumann absent, for the Road Commission to  provide three applications of the anti-ice compound, brine, at two passes per road in the amount of $33,433.

Additional contracts with the Road Commission, including paving Sunset Boulevard and repairing a culvert on Holland Lake Road, were tabled until board members could review the details during a ride-along with Road Commission Superintendent Mark Christiansen.
