RICHLAND TOWNSHIP —  Three vehicles were involved in a crash this morning, which ended with an unoccupied mobile home being knocked off its foundation.
The incident occurred at about 6:30 a.m. at Crystal Road and M-46 in Richland Township, according to Montcalm County Undersheriff Mark Bellinger.
A 2006 Dodge Dakota pickup truck driven by a 32-year-old Lakeview woman eastbound on M-46 turned left onto Crystal Road in front of a 2001 Ford Windstar minivan driven by a 37-year-old Vestaburg woman.
The vehicles collided, pushing the pickup truck into a 2008 Kia Spectra driven by a 42-year-old Vestburg woman. The minivan continued off the road and hit a modular home at the northwest corner of the intersection.
The impact pushed the mobile home off its foundation and damaged an exterior wall. The 24-by-36 home was for sale by Comfort Homes on Crystal Road.
All three drivers said they had no time to react before impact. The driver of the minivan received minor injuries, but refused transport to a hospital.
“It was a terrible looking mess that looked worse than what it was,” Bellinger said.
Montcalm County Emergency Services also assisted at the scene.
