Crystal man facing charges 15 years after alleged sexual assault
A 58-year-old Crystal man is facing charges for allegedly sexually assaulting a child 15 years ago. Deputies from the Mecosta County Sheriff’s Office arrested David Maguire at his home on Tuesday without incident.

Gun fired in Pine Township domestic dispute
A gun reportedly has been fired during a domestic dispute.
Police are responding to the 5400 block of West Briggs Road.
Three-vehicle crash damages mobile home
Three vehicles were involved in a crash this morning, which ended with a mobile home being knocked off its foundation.
The incident occurred at about 6:30 a.m. at Crystal Road and M-46 in Richland Township, according to Montcalm County Undersheriff Mark Bellinger.

Police investigating possible shots fired in Gowen
A man with alleged mental health issues is telling police an acquaintance fired at shotgun at him before fleeing into the woods.
Police from multiple agencies are blanketing the area around West County Line and Sidney roads in Gowen searching for the suspect while continuing to interview the alleged victim.
