The Crystal Township Fire Department responded to a structure fire on East Lake Street this morning at 3:36 a.m. Firefighters were still on the scene as of 8:30 this morning attempting to extinguish the fire.

Sidney Township home destroyed in early morning fire (Photos)

Residents of a Sidney Township home are safe, but a dog is missing after an early morning fire today. A fire alarm shortly before 7 a.m. woke up Mary DeGram and her sister, Tina Perry, who was staying at the home at 4709 Derby Road. Mary’s husband, Gerrit DeGram, had already left for work. The mobile home of Gerrrit and Mary DeGram was destroyed this morning on Derby Road.
