Greenville golfers dominate Lakeview Invitational

Greenville’s boys golf team had no problems with the wind or the other teams at Brookside Golf Course Saturday. The Yellow Jackets were far and away the winners of the Lakeview Invitational, shooting a team score of 330. That was 51 strokes better than Cedar Springs and 55 better than the host Wildcats’ “gold” team, followed by Central Montcalm (424), Montabella (427) and Lakeview’s “navy” team (501).

Montabella boys basketball team improved, but wanted more wins

Montabella’s boys basketball team made some strides this season, but it didn’t get the wins it wanted. “I would have loved to have won more games, but I thought it was a pretty positive season,” coach Gary Jankowsky said. “Our JV had a successful season and the varsity got better as a team so I thought it was pretty good.”
