One man has been shot multiple times at the Flat River Inn in Greenville and the suspect remains on the loose.
Several people called Montcalm County Central Dispatch around 12:25 a.m. today after hearing shots fired in a room at the motel, located on Hillcrest Street just north of Washington Street (M-57).
Police are still looking for the suspect in an armed robbery at Huntington Bank in downtown Greenville on Wednesday.
The male suspect reportedly was armed with a semi-automatic handgun when he robbed the bank around 10:35 a.m. today, according to reports from police and Montcalm County Central Dispatch. Greenville Department Public Safety Director Mike Stuck said the suspect walked into the bank and showed a gun to tellers before making off with an undisclosed amount of money. Police are investigating whether the suspect said anything to the tellers or passed a note demanding money.
