An Edmore man was honored recently as the “Young Member of the Year” by the Michigan Cattlemen’s Association. Trent Hilding is a fifth-generation farmer on a Centennial farm in Edmore. He cares for 115 cows in a rotational grazing system.
A Howard City woman was killed after a car struck her while she was lying in the road early this morning. According to Montcalm County Undersheriff Mark Bellinger, the accident occurred around 5:30 a.m. on M-46 near Edgar Road just north of Howard City.
