Greenville Department of Public Safety officers and firefighters responded to an accident at the intersection of M-57 and Youngman Road shortly before 1 p.m. today. A black sedan left the road and flipped onto its side and into a ditch on the northwest corner of Youngman Road.

Spectrum Health United Hospital’s Emergency Department will begin providing patient care services in the newly constructed portions of the Stanley and Blanche Ash Emergency Department. The move was set to begin at 7 a.m. today and will allow the existing emergency department to begin renovation.

Montcalm Community College will receive an increase from last year’s state appropriations fund. President Bob Ferrentino announced the news at Tuesday’s Board of Trustees meeting at the college’s Sidney campus.
The general mood was somber on Belding’s side of Wolbers Field Tuesday. The Redskins had just lost the Division 2 quarterfinals to Wayland Union 11-1.
